I was born and raised in Miami Beach Florida right on the water on Sunset Island #1. I have always been an ocean lover spending my weekends sailing, snorkeling, and fishing in Miami. During my summers growing up I would spend them riding horses and hiking mountains and then I fell in love with the desert where I attended the University of Arizona. I have always had a passion for traveling and the outdoors. I am an avid hiker and explorer and natural horse trainer. I have lived in Alaska in a ocean kayak for 2 months and the wind river mountain ranges peaking its highest peaks. I have crossed through the Panama Canal on a sailboat and sailed the whole coast of Costa Rica all the way to Mexico. A life changing experience for me. And seeing the country I love so much from offshore for weeks on end, sleeping in coveted coves, just really made me love Costa Rica even more than I thought I could and that was only 3 years ago.
I came to Costa Rica for the first time in the summer of 1995 my graduating year from the University of Arizona. During this trip I fell in Love with the country, the beauty of the jungle and all its amazing sounds and animals took my breath away and I knew I was home. Since the first trip here I came every summer until I bought my first piece of property in Manuel Antonio in 2004. When I moved here from the United States it was no light load, I brought with me my 3 horses, 3 dogs,, and 2 cats along for the ride. I have raised my four children, yes, all girls, here in this beautiful country and couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else. Costa Rica offered them the experience of Costa Rican traditions and culture meanwhile being educated to International standards which was always a concern of mine. Both my oldest daughters graduated here and were able to choose from top universities in the USA and both choose to go back to Arizona. My oldest Daughter is 23 and has graduated from the University of Arizona and has had an amazing start in life due to being bilingual and international. My 21-year-old is now in her sophomore year at the university of Arizona , and my youngest 2 are still in schools here in Santa Ana.
Being married to a Costa Rican Sculptor has been one amazing journey full of love, art , and adventure.
I have always had a great eye for finding incredible properties and placing the right buyers with sellers. I think that my knack as a real estate agent is showing clients what exactly suits them and their needs to be happy in their home. Selling homes or land for me becomes personal because I want to make sure that every investment my clients make is a good one and that they are truly happy and satisfied in it. Most of my clients become friends by default and I really love that more than anything. I have been in the real estate industry since I was in Arizona and bringing my International knowledge to the table in Costa Rica has helped me succeed here. I am beyond grateful to call Costa Rica my home.
I love Costa Rica and I think that everyone should own a little piece of paradise here!
